Switzerland

Nyon is 25 minutes up the lake shore, 28 km, CHF 130. Lausanne is 50 minutes and 64 km for CHF 280, Montreux an hour and five for 94 km and CHF 380. Zurich is the long one: 3 h 15 and 278 km, CHF 980. All four run on the A1 motorway, and the fare is per vehicle, one way.

Nearby France

Annecy is 40 minutes and 46 km, CHF 250. Chamonix is 1 h 10 through the Mont-Blanc valley, 82 km, CHF 390. Megève follows at 1 h 05 and 102 km for CHF 455, Courchevel at 2 h 30 and 141 km for CHF 630, Lyon at 1 h 45 and 150 km for CHF 650.

The border is crossed in the same car, with the same driver: there is no change of vehicle and no second fare. Carry the identity document you would need for any crossing.

The Alpine resorts

Gstaad and Verbier are both about two hours — 152 and 163 km, CHF 580 each. Crans-Montana is 2 h 20 and 184 km for CHF 720.

Zermatt is car-free. The road stops at Täsch, 2 h 50 and 231 km from Geneva, CHF 780; the last five kilometres are done by shuttle train, which runs every twenty minutes and takes twelve. Booking to « Zermatt » therefore means booking to Täsch — better to know before you land with the skis.

In winter the vehicles are equipped for snow, and skis and boards travel with you. Say so at booking so the right vehicle is sent. The ski resorts page covers the season in detail.

How the price is set

Every figure above is per vehicle, one way, and confirmed before the journey — there is no meter on these routes. A child seat is CHF 30 per seat per journey and is fitted before pickup, on request. Extended waiting and oversized luggage are stated at booking, never added afterwards. The full table is on the fares page.

Which vehicle, and what if your route is not listed

A saloon or business car takes up to three passengers, a van up to seven. It is usually the luggage that decides: three people with four large cases or ski equipment travel better in a van — see vans and groups.
